Stefan Czermak



The concertmaster and soloist of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra is Stefan Czermak (b. 1948), who came to the Wieniawski Competition after studies at Moscow Conservatory, and competitions in Moscow (Pyotr Tchaikovsky) and Paris (Jacques Thibaud). He is also first violinist with the Shostakovich Quartet in Hamburg.
