Igor Iwanow



Igor Iwanow (b. 1923), since 1945 violinist with the Warsaw Philharmonic, was one of the most mature participants of the competition, who skilfully combined the qualities of a virtuoso with elegance and depth of interpretation. Died in Sweden in 2005.
