Mayuko Kamio (b. 1986) studied at the Juilliard School of Music in New York with Professors: Dorothy DeLay, Koichiro Harada and Masao Kawasaki. 1st Prize laureate at international contest in Monte Carlo (2004) and International David Oistrakh Competition (2004) in the Ukraine, she tours extensively in Europe, Japan and the United States, and performs with such ensembles as the Israel Philharmonic (with Zubin Mehta), the Tonhalle Orchester of Zurich (with David Zinman), the NHK Orchestra (with Charles Dutois), the Kremerata Baltica, the National Symphony Orchestra of Russia (with Vladimir Spivakov), the Czech Philharmonic, or American orchestras. She also gives recitals in venues like Lincoln Center in New York.
