Cécile Achille
started her studies as a child in the choirs of la Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris, and then at Le Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMD), under the principle mentorship of Mireille Alcantara and Elène Golgevit. 

She made her professional debut in 2011 at the Opéra-Comique in the role of Antoinette (O mon bel inconnu, Hahn). She collaborates with conductors such as Nicolas Krüger, Emmanuel Olivier, Lionel Sow, Emmanuelle Haïm, Laurence Equilbey, Alain Altinoglu or Paavo Järvi; and stage directors like Marguerite Borie, Florent Siaud, Vincent Vittoz, Thierry Thieû Niang, Michel Fau, Guillaume Gallienne and Jérôme Deschamps. 

A member of the 2013 Academy of the Opéra-Comique, Achille has performed the roles of Francoise in Ciboulette by Hahn and of Maguelonne in the Viardot Cendrillon. Then she embodies many roles from Charpentier operas Proserpine in La descente d’Orphée aux Enfers (operas of Lille and Dijon), Diane in Acteon (Opéra Royal de Versailles). With Il Giardino d’Amore Orchestra (S.Plewniak), she is Amour, Phani, Zaire in Les Indes Galantes in the Dramma per musica festival in Warsaw, and Une Bergère and Flore in Naïs also from Rameau in Warsaw Philharmony and Bydgoszcz Festival and the title role in L’Incoronazione di Poppea Monteverdi. Passionate of Mozart operas, she has the pleasure to perform Papagena, and  Ilia from Idomeneo. 

As for concerts, she has performed in various festivals and venues such as the Salle Pleyel and La Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet, Festival de Radio-France Occitanie and the Crans-Montana Classics Festival. In 2017, she creates the piano, clarinet and voice Marie Nodier Trio, specialized in romantic and contemporary repertoires. She has founded a duet with the pianist Florence Boissolle.

She has won the singing prize for French Song of the International Academy Maurice Ravel (2010), with Rossini, Bizet and Mozart she won the 2nd opera prize of the Concours International de Chant Lyrique de Marseille (2017) and by interpreting Amina in la Sonnambula and Ophélie in Hamlet (A.Thomas) a special prize in the Gabriela Benackova International Competition (2018).

This coming season, she will sing a recital around the artists of the Great War in Poznan and will be La Paix in Les Arts Florissants (Charpentier) in the Chateau de Versailles. Her new recording of this role with the “Ensemble Marguerite-Louise” is out since September 2018.
