Anna Im

She is the First Prize winner of the Michael Hill International Violin Competition (2019), the Stuttgart International Violin Competition (2024), and the ArsClassica International Competition (2024), as well as a Laureate of the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition (2024).

She has performed with numerous orchestras including the Stuttgart Philharmoniker, Belgian National Orchestra, Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle Schwerin, Orchestre national de Metz Grand Est, and the Auckland Philharmonia, among others. Her recordings Amabile (2021) and Rêverie (2024) have received international acclaim. 

She studied at the Curtis Institute of Music with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Aaron Rosand, and at the Royal Academy of Music with So-Ock Kim. She is currently studying with Janine Jansen and Erik Schumann at the Kronberg Academy, while continuing her studies with So-Ock Kim. Her studies at Kronberg have been generously supported by the Strauss family of Engelbert Strauss GmbH & Co. KG since 2024.
