Bartosz Skibiński

Bartosz Skibiński studied with Professor Łukasz Błaszczyk at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź and with Professor Eszter Haffner at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. He is currently pursuing Solo Studies at the FHNW Academy of Music in Basel with Professor Rainer Schmidt. 

A laureate of numerous national and international violin competitions, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Bohdan Warchal Violin Competition and was among the prizewinners of the Ernst & Szymanowski International Violin Competition. 

He is a recipient of scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and Beckett-Fonden (Denmark). Alongside his solo and orchestral activities, chamber music plays a central role in his artistic life. Since 2021, he has been Permanent Second Concertmaster of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen.
