Daniel Rafimayeri 

Daniel Rafimayeri is an American violinist born and raised in New York City and a graduate of The Juilliard School. Recent solo engagements include performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, and the Kennedy Center, as well as new-music projects at the French Consulate in New York City and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. 

He is the Gold Medalist of the Stulberg International String Competition, where he was also awarded the Bach Prize. Additionally, he is a laureate of the Washington International Competition for Strings, where he won the Overall Audience Prize, a recipient of the Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant, and a scholarship recipient of NPR’s From the Top.

At Juilliard, he studied under Catherine Cho, Li Lin, and Ronald Copes. He is currently pursuing further studies under Tai Murray at the Yale School of Music.
