Elias David Moncado

A scholarship holder of the Anne-Sophie-Mutter Foundation and the Gautier Capuçon Foundation, 25-year-old violinist Elias David Moncado is considered "one of the greatest talents of his generation" (Anne-Sophie Mutter). He is the youngest winner of the First Grand Prix and ten special prizes at the International Karol Lipiński Competition 2019 in Poland, as well as winner of the International Valsesia Musica 2021 and the International Vladimir Spivakov Competition 2021. He performed at festivals such as Lucerne, Gstaad, Rheingau, and was a soloist with the Bavarian Radio and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestras, the Sofia Philharmonic, and the Korean Chamber Orchestra, among others. 

He performed at venues such as Alte Oper Frankfurt, Carnegie Hall in New York, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Smetana Hall in Prague, Tonhalle Zürich and Konzerthaus Vienna. His critically acclaimed CDs were released by Avi-Music in 2022 and Warner Classics in 2026. From 2023 to 2026 he studied with Mihaela Martin at the Kronberg Academy. Since September 2026, he has been an Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel with Augustin Dumay.
