Jonathan Okseniuk

Jonathan Okseniuk's profound passion for classical music and conducting began before he could take his first steps. The pivotal moment came when he witnessed an orchestra at the age of nineteen months, igniting a passion within him. As a competitor, he achieved the distinction of being the inaugural performer to secure First Prize in both the 2020 Junior and 2021 Senior national competitions organized by the Music Teachers National Association, spanning two consecutive years. He won numerous prizes including the Junior Division of the 2022 Sphinx Competition, the Phoenix Youth Symphony Competition, the National Federation of Music Clubs Stillman Kelley Award, and the Concours de Mirecourt.
He was accepted into the Curtis Institute of Music in 2023 and is studying under Midori Goto. Over the past fourteen years, he has been a student of Jing Zeng. He has also worked with distinguished teachers including Jan Sloman, Miriam Fried, Noah Bendix-Balgley, Margaret Batjer, Peter Oundjian, and William van der Sloot. As of 2024, Jonathan works closely in collaboration with Allegro Music Consultants.
