Julia-Xiaozhuo Wang

Born in 2007, she began studying the violin at the age of three. She moved to Vienna at the age of twelve to continue her studies.

In 2026, she was the youngest prizewinner at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition and the youngest prizewinner at the Stuttgart International Violin Competition. She has won First Prize at the Grumiaux International Violin Competition, the top award at the Zhuhai Mozart International Competition, Second Prize at the Cooper International Violin Competition, and Third Prize at the Wieniawski-Lipinski Violin Competition.

She has also won awards as the youngest participant in the International Classical Strings Competition and the Karol Szymanowski & Heinrich Ernst International Violin Competition. 

She has performed with orchestras, including the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
