Marina Wako 

Born in 2007, she is a multi-award-winning violinist. She won first place in the string instruments category at the 20th Romanian International Music Competition and also won the prestigious Grand Prix. She was also selected as a semi-finalist at the 13th Sibelius International Violin Competition in 2025. She won third place and the Iwatani Prize (Audience Prize) at the 91st Japan Music Competition. She also won the Grand Prix at the 1st Yokohama International Violin Competition and the IMA Music Award at the Ishikawa Music Academy. At the 74th All-Japan Student Music Competition, she won first place in both the Tokyo and National competitions in the junior high school division, and won the Uzuka Prize and Togi Prize.

She is currently a freshman at Toho Gakuen School of Music, studying under Koichiro Harada and Michiko Kamiya.
