Maya Alexandra Kasprzak

She comes from a Polish-Japanese family of musicians. Her teachers include Julita Smolen, Wienczyslaw Kasprzak, and Prof. Zakhar Bron. She later completed her pre-college studies at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) with Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig (HMT Leipzig) with Prof. Tobias Feldmann. She also receives valuable artistic inspiration from, among others, Maxim Vengerov, Prof. Stephan Picard, Prof. Mihaela Martin, Lisa Batiashvili, and Prof. Barnabás Kelemen.
As a prizewinner of numerous international violin competitions (including First Prize at the International Violin Competition Henri Marteau 2026, Third Prize at the International Carl Flesch Competition 2023, Third Prize at the Bartók World Competition 2023, and First Prizes at the national "Jugend musiziert" competition in both solo and duo categories), she has performed at various music festivals, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Festival Academy Budapest, the Con Spirito Festival 2025, and the Shostakovich Festival 2025 in Leipzig.
