Seonglan Hong

Acclaimed for her refined artistry, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Seoul National University under Professor Young Uck Kim. In 2025, she achieved a monumental triumph at the 8th Mirecourt International Violin Competition in France, capturing First Prize along with five special awards, including the Audience and Orchestra Prizes. That same year, she won the 19th-Century Sonata Prize at the 44th Rodolfo Lipizer International Violin Competition, following her Fourth Prize at the 2022 Sendai International Music Competition.

As a soloist, she has collaborated with the Bucheon Philharmonic, the KCO Chamber Orchestra, and the Miyagi University of Education Orchestra. Her performance highlights feature a Kumho Young Artist Recital, a recital at the Hitachi Systems Hall Sendai, and appearances at the Youth Music Festival and the SNU Strings IX Ensemble. She has also served as concertmaster of the Seoul National University Orchestra and the Seoul Youth Symphony Orchestra.
