Sunjae Ok

Sunjae Ok is a South Korean-born violinist. He won First Prize and eleven special awards at the 6th Karol Lipiński International Violin Competition (2024) in Toruń, receiving high acclaim from renowned musicians, including Daniel Stabrawa. His versatility as a musician has also led to invitations to perform with numerous orchestras and give solo recitals in various cities across Europe and Asia. 

He has participated in masterclasses and performed with renowned musicians such as Leonidas Kavakos, Shlomo Mintz, Daniel Stabrawa, Bartłomiej Nizioł, Agata Szymczewska, Mi-kyung Lee, Régis Pasquier, Svetlin Roussev, Guillaume Sutre, Tabea Zimmermann, Vineta Sareika, Michael Erxleben, and Konstantin Heidrich, drawing much inspiration from them. As a chamber musician, he is regularly invited as a guest by the Polish String Quartet Berlin, led by Tomasz Tomaszewski. 

Since 2017, he has been studying under Tomasz Tomaszewski at the Berlin University of the Arts.
