Theodor Kaskiv

He is a French violinist born in Switzerland. Raised in a family of musicians, he began studying the violin with his father. He studied at the Institut Le Rosey (2015–2021) and Le Régent International School (2021–2024), before continuing his violin studies at the Menuhin Academy at the Haute École de Musique de Genève with Tedi Papavrami. He has participated in the Gstaad Menuhin Festival Academy with Anna Chumachenco, the Verbier Festival Academy with Boris Kuschnir and Ilya Gringolts, and the Sarasate Academy with Mihaela Martin. He is currently pursuing his studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid under Christoph Poppen. 

As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras in Lviv and with the Gstaad Menuhin Festival Orchestra. His distinctions include First Prize at the Lvivsky Virtuose International Competition, Second Prize at the Grumiaux International Violin Competition, and Second Prize at the Concours d’Interprétation Musicale de Lausanne.
