Wojciech Niedziółka

Wojciech Niedziółka is one of the most promising representatives of the new generation of Polish musicians. He currently studies under Rainer Schmidt at the Musik-Akademie Basel and under Łukasz Błaszczyk at the Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. As a soloist, he has appeared with most major Polish philharmonic orchestras. 

In 2023, he was awarded the Coryphaeus of Polish Music Award (Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej) in the Discovery of the Year category. Alongside his solo activity, chamber music occupies a central role in his artistic life. His repertoire ranges from established masterpieces to lesser-known works, with a particular interest in Polish music and compositions he believes deserve renewed attention. 

In 2025, he gave the premiere performance and made the first recording of Grzegorz Fitelberg’s rediscovered Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 13, unheard for more than 120 years. His recording of Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 1 was nominated for the Fryderyk Award in 2025. He is a recipient of scholarships from the Rafał Brzoska Foundation, the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and the Łódź Voivodeship.
