Wonbeen Chung

She completed her Bachelor’s degree and Meisterklasse studies at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München with Prof. Mi-Kyung Lee and Prof. Ingolf Turban. She pursued her Master’s and postgraduate studies with Prof. Pierre Amoyal at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and is currently studying chamber music with Prof. Dirk Mommertz at HMTM. 

She has been a prizewinner of the Lipiński International Violin Competition (3rd Prize, special prizes, 2024), Carl Flesch International Violin Competition (Laureate, special prize, 2023), Postacchini International Violin Competition (2nd Prize, 2019), and International Violin Competition Henri Marteau (Laureate, 2017). 

She has appeared with the Toruń Symphony Orchestra, Elbląg Chamber Orchestra, Savaria Symphony Orchestra, Hofer Symphoniker, Korean Chamber Orchestra and Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra.
